Contains the following type of materials: photographs. Covers the following war: Korean War. Contains photographs of the following military unit: I (1st) Corps. General description of the collection: The James F. Brittingham collection consists of three oversize albums. Box 1 contains two of them covering personnel and activities of the Field Artillery School at Fort Sill where he was commandant, circa 1952 to 1954. In box 2, the third album covers personnel and activities of 1st Corps Artillery, which he commanded in the Korean War, circa 1951 to 1952. There is also a section in this album for noteworthy Signal Corps photos of the Korean War, but none are captioned or dated. The few loose photos of the collection are portraits and group photos taken between 1945 and 1955, relative to General Brittingham's career.
